Frequently asked questions

Common questions about how ClipPack records, stores and shares packing videos. Not finding your answer? Email us.

The app and order lookup are free. Without buying anything, a store can still record within the free tier's limit, and videos go to your own storage — Telegram has no size limit, while Drive and OneDrive use your account quota. To remove the order limit, buy Pro; to skip connecting storage yourself, buy Cloud storage. See the pricing page.

Create an account on the web, then submit a store application from there. It is approved automatically or reviewed by us during business hours.

Yes. Order lookup and the store dashboard both work on a computer; the phone app is for recording.

There is no time limit. The app cuts the clip when it sees the next order code, so even a slow order stays in one video.

No. Hold the label up to the camera; the app reads the code and starts recording. When it sees the next order code, it moves on to the next video.

Every video carries the order code, the date, a clock ticking by the second, the address where it was recorded and your store logo — burned into the frames during processing.

You pick the order type (outgoing or return) when recording. The library and the lookup page filter by type.

In storage you connect: Telegram, Google Drive or OneDrive. With your own storage, ClipPack keeps no copy on its servers and you can disconnect at any time. If you would rather not set that up, use ClipPack Cloud.

No. ClipPack only requests the drive.file scope, which grants access solely to files the app itself created or uploaded. It cannot read or list anything else in your Drive.

The app shows the space left under Storage and warns you as it fills up. You can clear some out, buy more space, or switch to Telegram (no limit).

No. Videos already uploaded stay in the old storage and remain searchable; only videos recorded afterwards go to the new one.

No. They open the link you send, or go to clippack.app and enter the order code to watch it in the browser.

Yes — anyone holding the order code can watch that order's video, so share codes with care. That is deliberate: it lets customers check without needing an account.

A video needs a few minutes to have the watermark applied and to upload, especially on a weak connection. If “upload on Wi-Fi only” is on, it waits for Wi-Fi.

Each branch has its own staff and storage by permission; the owner sees every branch in one dashboard.

Staff work only in the branch they are assigned to: recording and watching that branch's videos. Only the owner can change storage settings.
